Combat Cholesterol Without Drugs

Combining key foods can lower cholesterol by a massive 30 per cent.

A diet combining a handful of known cholesterol-lowering foods cut ‘LDL', the so-called bad cholesterol, by close to 30 per cent, University of Toronto researchers found. This reduction is similar to that achieved by some medications used for treating high cholesterol, raising hopes for a drug-free alternative for some.
