While some folks can burn the midnight oil with seemingly little impact on their daily functioning, research is now confirming the importance of getting enough sleep. Good news if you like a snooze!

There's a flimsy logic around the traps that the standard eight hours sleep each night has become an insupportable indulgence amongst the hyper-speed pace of modern life. If we all just cut back to six, the extra two could be picked up at work, or doing something else more useful.
