Keep Your Kidneys Quiet

It's generally recommended that we drink up to eight glasses of water a day, after taking into account the water contained in our food and drink and depending on the weather and our activity levels. Ever wondered why? It could save you from the pain of kidney stones or worse.

You don't hear much about kidneys. They're just in there, around the back of the abdominal cavity doing their filtering thing. Nice and steady, nice and quiet. The body's janitor, in a way. Not one of your star-attraction organs.
