Magnificent Macadamia Nuts

Researchers have found that eating macadamia nuts can improve blood cholesterol profiles in men with high cholesterol.

Even though they're high in fat, studies have shown eating nuts might actually help prevent cardiovascular disease. The reason is that nuts contain nearly all monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) - fats known to help lower the risk of heart disease.
