Managing Chronic Pain

Living with chronic pain can be a real battle, regardless of the cause. But if you think popping painkillers is your only option for relief, think again – pain management strategies have come a long way in recent years.

What is chronic pain?

Chronic pain refers to pain that is present on most days of the week for a period of three months or more. It may be caused by anything from ongoing medical conditions – such as arthritis, back pain or cancer – to a recent or old injury or previous surgery.
