What's involved in recovery from an osteoporotic fracture?

Accidents happen and anyone can break a bone. If you have osteoporosis, the risk is greater and the bones most likely to sustain a fracture are in the spine, hip and wrist. The ribs, upper arms, pelvis, collarbones, ankles and feet are also commonly affected.
