Safety First For Preventing Falls (Part Two)

In part one of this article, we examined risks for falling and how you can reduce trip hazards in your home. In part two, we look at other things you can do to prevent falls and fractures.

What’s the rush?

Accidents are far more likely to happen when you rush and are distracted, so make it a firm habit of going at your own, safe pace. The person at the door will wait for you to answer, and if you don’t get to the phone in time, if you’ve got some sort of answering service, you can always call them straight back.
