One of the fallacies about exercise is that only intense training produces results. This simply isn't true!

In the '70s and '80s, the notion that exercise had to be vigorous to be beneficial was advocated by many fitness industry types. More recent research has shown that even light to moderate intensity exercise can also be very beneficial for lowering risks of cardiovascular disease. The key is making sure the exercise is regular.
