Weight Management Tips For Ex-Smokers

While it doesn’t affect everyone, weight gain of up to five kilograms is fairly normal after quitting smoking. Given that this can be a deterrent to staying quit, it's important to have steps you can take to reduce weight gain or avoid it altogether.

Before we spell out those steps, it's worth noting that quitting is one of the best things you can do for your body. Even if you do gain some weight, your health is the winner for your decision to give up smoking. Remember, any weight you do gain can be reversed later, unlike much of the damage to your lungs caused by smoking.
