Weight Training Without Injury

Frustrating as it may be, the real key to injury free training is patience - so keep in mind how much slower your progress will be if you're injured!

One of the major setbacks to training progress is injury. Injuries can occur because of poor technique, trying to lift excessive loads or because of insufficient rest and recovery between training sessions. This is where patience is vital; set realistic weekly targets rather than trying to break world records! The result will be small but consistent gains rather than haphazard, stop-start progress.
