Anxiety Management
For people who have an anxiety disorder or are at risk of developing an anxiety disorder.
Everyone feels anxious from time to time, but if worry and anxiety is taking over your life, it may be due to an anxiety disorder. The great news is that, just like other health conditions, anxiety disorders can be treated, and there are many things you can do every day to feel better and to help manage your anxiety, so you can get on with your life.
Of course, we’re not here to replace your doctor or psychologist or their advice. Rather we aim to give you extra information to help you work effectively with all your health professionals so you can begin to recover as soon as possible.
If you are currently taking anti-anxiety medication or receiving counselling, please continue to follow the advice of your mental health professional and adhere to your treatment plan. And if at any stage you develop or experience suicidal thoughts, please see your doctor, call a help line or attend a hospital emergency department promptly.
